Sync databases between domino servers (no cluster)

We have a domino 8.5.1 server that is used to host sametime 8.5.1, and we have an identical alternative standby server.
What will be the best approach to sync the databases of both servers so that the secondary will take over in case of a failover (in particular keeping all meeting stuff, seamless change to sametime clients)?
